Not-so special attack
#11
The 4m part is mostly so that covering your back against a wall doesn't make it totally useless to do that against a VA, but also makes it so that the VA has some sort of way to counter-act that.

1. 'covering your back against a wall' often translates to 'covering your back against a battle border that doesn't really cover your back' or 'putting your back to a rock, which the VA really should be able to get on but somehow can't'
2. A 4M move makes it quite implausible for the VA to turn the opponent around and then attack them if the enemy isn't on an adjacent square. 'BUT YOU CAN CRIT TO FOLLOW UP' doesn't really justify this.

That being said, if you're going to have the dagger special spin someone around, make it 3M. That way, the skill can't be too easily cheesed.

I'm inclined to agree with 3m, but I'm certainly biased. If it is made 3 momentum, maybe make it not work with dagger dance so it's not strictly better than normal attacks in all situations.

I will change my mind and would mostly say let it be 3m and not work with dagger dance, as Kameron said, and we could see where it could go from there.

in what universe is four attacks that use a 100% of a stat that isn't luc/fai (even in those scenarios it'd be stupidly strong) for 4M sensible in any way
in what universe is an attack that pretty much gets you on the back of an enemy AND attacking him for 3M sensible. Atleast have some sort of a requirement, like OPs suggestion with crit or smthn.

you don't even use any FP at all for these.

at all

do you ever even read what you type

Maybe that was indeed a little too much, that casual despair to see melee being able to do what magic does. More /skills/ for Daggers would be nice too. Gawd dam it sarinpa-
ANYWAY, I'm on to the spin-around strike for daggers, +1 and all but still, the one that shifts places with the opponent would be better to have. A way to hook people out of the battle corners (or that bush/rock/metaelgis) and kick them back to the center or away from safety.
