Some features get added to the game and feel like they were just never intended to really work.. There's two features that come to mind to me right now and it's Darkness Tiles and Spell Scrolls.
Darkness has been in the game for a little while now, but even still has not received a way to prolong darkness tiles, which has made almost all of its elemental crash effects obsolete , Darkness Firebird for the same reason is unworkable, Expanding Darkness? not played.
Any attempts to play with the tile effect is discouraged.
Another feature I wanna mention is scroll slots for spells that benefit from elemental buffs, they seemed like a method originally to add more spells to the repertoire of an element... But as they didn't benefit from having the enchant of that element, they were very quickly thrown in to the gutter, the whole spell scroll mechanic felt very quickly swept under the rug, and when looking back, leave most people wondering why we even got them in the first place.
Personally I think I'd be cool if these received a mini buff.
