It happens to a lot of tips, also some weapon descriptions are outdated.
Tomes need to say that only they will increase spell power, and that it doesn't matter what hand they're held in.
Guns say their damage is increased by SKI and is unresistable, when it only ignores armor. (even though they all scale SKI its best to leave it to the scaling description for future guns maybe)

For tomes, a better wording would be something like this:
"Tomes increase the damage of Spells you cast by the Tome's total Weapon Power (including Upgrade Levels and Power-increasing Enchantments), if the Tome and the Spell are of a matching element. In case of mismatched elements, only half of the Tome's total Power is applied. Regardless of whether the elements match, the stat scaling portion of the Tome's Scaled Weapon ATK is applied in full."
For guns, a better wording would be something like this:
"Guns deal damage that ignores Armor, but is still reduced by the target's DEF. The stat scaling portion of a Gun's Scaled Weapon ATK is divided across the number of Rounds the gun fires, but the Gun's total Weapon Power (including Upgrade Levels and Power-increasing Enchantments) occurs in full for each of the Rounds fired."
