In an earlier thread about Geist Schritt, Dev stated:

There are plenty of windows of opportunity if you guess correctly or abuse certain weaknesses of GS. Skills that target locations will not trigger GS. Neither will projectiles. Triggering GS will also trigger things like Cinders in the path of movement.

After testing, both a gun (Magical Nova) and a bow (Windbark Bow) triggered Eins with Attack. Zwei was triggered by both Cripple Leg and the basic attack from Shinken when tested with the Magical Nova. I also tested both weapons with a Spirit Mirror to ensure their attacks were being considered projectiles. Attack was reflected on both of them.

Projectiles, as in those created by Holy Arrow, etc, won't trigger it because they don't target the Boxer. That was what I meant.
