Can the Tome/Weapon series (Grandovyn/Rexys/Forgrint) be considered melee in their weapon forms? For skills such as Eviter, because their range is limited to 1 and also to prevent being smacked back by reflect projectile.

This makes sense, but at the same time, their transformation costs 1M and their scaling is quite terrible for anything non-Fire ATK, which already kills some of their viability.

It might be a worthy addition, if not to just fix logic issues.

It hardly seems fair that a tome that shifts into a weapon can be reflected when it IS a sword/spear/axe, so you just shank yourself instead. That, and it turns into a melee weapon that can proc Eviter. +1.
