My friend keeps crashing every time they try to fix their description or somebody looks at said description.

I thought all these description crashes might have something to do with tables, so I fiddled with your friend's code on an (expendable) alt, slowly building up to that exact code piece-by-piece. I got this far without crashing.

After adding the glow specifications to the table tag, the alt now suffers the same problem, and that's the root of the problem. I would advise no one attempt to add glow to any description until this is resolved.
