How did i fail?

Its INCREASING your chance to picking a lock by that number. Not making it a flat 100%

I forgot the formula behind it but I think it includes Cel+luc or something but think of it like this:

You have a 50 Lockpick stat without trait. your traits increase it by 105% so you have a lockpick stat of 102.5, you failed probably because the chest you opend had a lockpick difficulty that was higher than you having a 100% chance of Success.
So basically like a hit/dodge check with you lockpick skill versus the chest difficulty.


I would like to know the exact Forumla though, above is just an example of how it roughly works
