So, call me crazy, not everyone uses the special chat tab that is open on game start, but due to how it interacts with the game, you have to have it open when you load a character before you can switch to all tab, as in my experience this causes chat to still register as the primary tab and absorb text into it, and I just want to be able to not have to switch to all tab everytime i load the game is all, simply put.

Can we get an option to disable this tab to just cut out the middleman?

I have the same issue, which also manifests when reconnecting to the game (instead of hard relaunching) in certain circumstances.  It would be helpful to have something akin to a Settings toggle that simply selected which chat type to default to on character login. 

For example:

Chat Type on Login:  [  ] Stylized [ x ] Classic
