Spells like Isendo, Fir, Golem, Underworld flame, shine ray and the such can all be evitered if the casting tool is a sword/spear/axe.

That applies to all damaging spells in the game, if you're using a spelledge weapon and the enemy meets all conditions to Eviter it.
Eviter says it blocks/parries 'skills' not 'spells', so yeah, definitely an unintended bug.

Hard to say whether this is actually a bug, however, I do think that spells should be exempt from Eviter even if you cast them a Quarterstaff or a valid Spelledge weapon.

I like it because it gives a downside to spell edge weapons

"Lolzytripd" Wrote:I like it because it gives a downside to spell edge weapons There's already a downside to spell-edge weapons, they won't ever get full power on a spell because they don't have an element tied to them like a tome would.

Unless the spell in question is Judgement blade.
In which case, ayyy lmoa.

spell edge weapons do get full power on a spell
The element of a weapon doesn't matter anymore

Then tell me this, should you logically be able to eviter earthen spikes like Isenshi, or a flat out huge fireball like sear? Perhaps Eviter a wretched oil from halfway across the map? Not really, it's flat out unfair to spell-edge weaponry and there's better casting tools than spell-edge weaponry.
You don't slash your sword and suddenly earthen spikes or dark water appears from the sword slash, magic should not be susceptible to Eviter simply based on weapon type.

Alternatively, you could just make magic damage bypass Eviter in general.
