The arena is malfunctioning if it's in the 2nd arena (or 3rd, etc) and you are fighting one enemy.



On second thought, it might just be giving a huge-ass group battle with every fight. Including a group battle.

It's spitting out a shitton of enemies that do not need to be in there.

Like, how that solo battle.. there are enemies that should not exist in said solo battle.

I think it's bugging and spawing a group battle for every fight inside the arena. It'd be a lot easier to just show you on server, because it is a touch hard to explain

Yeah I've even seen Souls randomly spawning to team up with the prinny or solo battle.

Negative. What's happening, for some reason, is that if anyone is fighting on the 1st floor of the arena (the one visible from the actual arena map), any new battle started below it will have all mobs from the 1st cloned along with whatever else was meant to spawn.


So for example, if you want to do a Prinny test, but someone is on the 1st floor fighting an arena combatant, you will get the following mobs in your battle if you start it.


Prinny (the intended mob)
random combatant (because they don't get assigned their 'random' human details, so they appear as souls)


Same thing with group battles.


Edit: And for reference, this can even clone allied mobs as enemy mobs. I do not have screenshots, but this is a case I ran into.

First floor: Someone was fighting a Single Match, and the player was wearing Haunted Armor. So this means they had a Barghest appear as an ally.

I start my Prinny battle.

Enemy includes:
Prinny
random combatant
Barghest (with the ghostly icon, not the default)

Starting a Single Match while someone else is doing a Single Match on 1st floor.






Edit: Starting a Kinu 2 (Scaled) battle while having my alt sit in a Group Battle. The results were interesting, at least.
