So, this glitch is actually very avoidable, but still, it's worth mentioning.
It seems that if you have a book (In my case, Note Paper), you click "rename book," and then click cancel, the name disappears.
...But not only does the name disappear, so does the right-click menu of the book. I have a feeling that this is tied to the name of the book, and therefore, a book with no name breaks.
Something like that. I didn't test it too extensively.
EDIT: Relogging does fix the paper and reset its name to Note Paper. But, there's still the fact that pressing cancel clears the name and makes it unusable until you do relog, which can get frustrating.
