This topic is for public vote and discussion of what you (yes, you!) the players want to see the most in game updates in the near(ish) future. So, read the options, and my post for clarification on those options, cast your vote, and discuss it a little if you like. While nothing voted for is guaranteed, and I reserve the freedom to pursue an area that might not even be mentioned in this topic, it is likely that I will use the results as a compass to help guide what I will work on in the near future.

You can choose up to 2 options, as per usual. I've also condensed a few options into one category, so if you vote for one of them but only want one part of it, you'll have to specify in the thread. If I've left something out you are also welcome to select 'Other' and elaborate in the thread, but keep in mind I am not really looking for -specific- ideas and more a general desire. I'm also going to describe the options in more detail below for once, along with things you may want to elaborate on in a post.

New Classes & Class Skills
This covers new classes; if you want more classes to play around with, this is a good option to pick.
Class skills means, of course, new class skills for existing classes.
If you wanted one without the other, you'll have to specify that.

New Races
New player races. If you want a specific category (for example, Kaelensia, or Corrupted), you'll want to specify that. No Jammer people.

New Traits & Talents
You want new traits and talents. If you only want one and not the other, please specify that.

New Legend Extension Abilities
More LE abilities, which are unlocked via Legend Extension. These can be new skills for existing categories or new categories entirely.

New Towns
New towns with player homes and such, the most likely candidates being Kaellia on Egwyn and Alstalsia, but not for certain. Rather time consuming and restricted by my aesthetic sense, but possible.

New Quests
New quests, with quest stamps, from NPCs in the world.
If you wanted new laplaceNET Requests, which are simpler, you can also pick this option and specify that.

New Youkai
New Youkai. This basically boils down to whatever race I have whatever idea for at the time, but if you want a specific race, you can tell me. (I want a new Avian Youkai, for example).

New Side-Activities
Things like chopping down wood, farming, fishing contests, minigames. We've done mostly these for the past 1-2 months, so I'm not sure if I'm tapped out on ideas or not. If you pick this option, you might want to specify what you mean, but keep in mind that you should keep your expectations reasonable.

Dungeon Theme Revamps
Things such as the Castle and Space revamps, but for other themes. Some of the themes I feel are okay, such as the Desert, but I understand that some of them are still a little lacking. You should probably specify what theme you'd like to see revamped, and maybe include a link to a Suggestion topic with ideas for them (this is optional).

Higher Level Dungeons & Items
This option is basically for all of you who want tougher enemies to fight and more rare items to hunt down.
Enemy levels go up while your levels stay the same. They may also gain new abilities at high levels.
It would also lead to the addition of 10* items, so if you want to hunt for rare stuff, here's your option.

Story Advancement
If you want the story to advance, more specifically the Kinu/Ashe story, this option is for you. (I am still working on this in the background either way.)

Other
You want something else, which is fine. Please post detailing what that is, otherwise it might as well be a wasted vote. But also please note I am looking for general ideas, not specific suggestions.

I would personaly like to see a whole new system for some dungeons. Larger scale battles, involving FP and HP management in just a single fight. Perhaps even some sort of a corridor layout, offering a wide range of enemies (And limitting whole field spells/revamping for these specific dungeons or something.) I'd see this very fitting to castle theme. We already have spacey dungeons and I think they are not used to their full potential. Althrough I can see it being troublesome with the monster AI just choosing the closest path to you.

What I'm trying to say is that I'd like a single fight to be some sort of a dungeon crawl on its own.

I checked "New Youkai" Though I'm more interested in seeing some of the SL1 Classics re-added, Like the Fire Elemental that looked like a humanoid female, or the earth one that looked tree-like and such..Yokionna got re-added so why not a few others? SL2 already has a bunch of new youkai to pick from, bringing back some classics would be nice.

what i wold like to see mostly is new dagger skills all there really is is cut throat and fray to which really doesnt expand the uses of the dagger skills daggers need love to ~

I choose Story Advancement for obvious reasons of wanting advancement to the story, as well as Dungeon Theme revamps - I love what happened with the Castles and Black Doors, however, they need some more variations, namely due to the fact that Spacey dungeon prefix has no effect on them now. It would be great to see a Spacey version of Castles, and of course, SPACE, as well as seeing what ideas can be brought up with the other dungeons, such as small camps in the Goblin Tunnels, or pools of water that interact with Ice spells in Jammer Tunnels, etc.

I voted New Classes and Skills, because let's fix the power creep.

Also voted for new higher-level stuff, because rounding out the availability of different weapons and armors.

Though, I'd also want more stamps, and for Phantom Crypts and their goddamn unseeable doors to be revamped.

I'm going to say "New classes and skills" for the simple reason that most other options will go largely unused.

- New area? Good luck finding anyone who actually GOES there unless they live there. Everyone just meets around Cellsvich/The Arena/Wherever a raid is. When Lispool was released, I spent a solid week in Lispool trying to meet people and the like, and many people just checked it out since it was new and didn't ever return. It's sad, but true.

- Story Advancement? As curious as I am, you do it once and that's it, really. While it's a wonderful chance to inject more lore into the world, and give RPers more to work with, I don't see too much positive long term value coming from this. Especially since I've already seen people ICly parading about information learned via the plot as common knowledge and spoiling it for newer players who haven't caught up yet. (And yes, I did OOCly tell them to kick themselves in the teeth for this, so if this sounds familiar, you know who you are.)

- New Youkai? IMO, we have enough issues with the existing ones that need fixing, first. The FP cost scaling (summoning upkeep, I mean) is too high considering Youkai skills have been weakened, and the Youkai skills, as they are now, are generally outclassed by non-youkai abilities that also cost less FP. Before we add more Youkai to the mix, we should probably tweak the existing ones a bit. Epecially since many Youkai (such as Firefox) are actully quite terrible (FP costs increase for no benefit,) and could use a rework. (EDIT: Most are fine, but many have terrible growths for the stat their skills scale on, especially Snow Crow and Apus. Just clarifying. I'm not saying to buff youkai. Minus the FP upkeep cost, they're mostly perfect as they are. With exceptions.)


Personally, I see new classes being the most efficient way to add content that most people will regularly use.

Story advancement for me. I love it. I like where it may be going. The only reason I'm even sticking around is for the story advancement.

Actually, I'm only logging on once I see an update log that says the story has been advanced, so that's about it.

Things like
  • House keys.
  • Extra Level keys.
  • Build permissions.
  • Both Casino games.
