Can the number be changed from -1 + (-1 per rank) to -2 + (-1 per rank)? So it becomes this:

Rank 1: 20 FP, Stat Reduction: -2
Rank 2: Stat Reduction: -3
Rank 3: Stat Reduction: -4
Rank 4: Stat Reduction: -5
Rank 5: Stat Reduction: -6

'Why bother?' Because of the secondary effect.

The effects are 'halved' if you don't meet the right condition to apply the full effect (attacking from behind), and halving an uneven number is not cool, so that's why this should be an even number at max rank. Added to the fact that people are scumbags and hide their backs on the battlefield's edge.
