Because, as far as I know, battlefields still get randomly dense tiles (sometimes after things like acid rain/light prism. It's hard to test though), and the debug battle tile only ever really tells you that, yes, in fact that tile IS dense!
It doesn't actually give us any info to give to you into the debug to fix the issue.
