The Sky Mantis Scythe's effect will treat you as though you were on the ground when you basic attack even while you are airborne meaning you NEED airborne compatibility from a Corbie's racial for it to actually work.

I don't think this is intentional considering that this weapon is supposedly Alstalsian and the zerans aren't great at flying.

Below are a series of screenshots that show that it's not actually reducing momentum for a basic attack whilst airborne using leaping lizard and at 7 momentum.
