Have someone in an area with furniture they're the Party Leader, or Character A They invite Character B to the party and character B runs to their house < or in my case, asago portal house > Open the building mode, then accept the invite they get SWOOOSHED back and have the build mode editor open.
I was waiting for SOMEONE TO NOTICE THIS before reporting how it's done. It's hillarious to the mage's guild fucked like this.
To fix this?
Have the Furniture editor close whenever you accept a party invite.
