Yes but Ghosthands does not stop on-damage effects, retaliation is an on-damage effect and not an on-basic attack effect, this has remained consistent for Ghosthands since forever. Ghosthands does not stop Crystal Mirror nor Brightray Bulwark's reflect damage either.
