I've made this suggestion multiple times in the past due to skills that don't need a specific weapon type (Banquet being a major one that punishes Vampire Arbalests ridiculously due to close range bow hit bonuses) and it never gets implemented.

I'm fully on board for it, but I'm not expecting it.
