I think its mostly that no one finds that particularly fun or engaging and just a brainless grind that no one wants to suffer through, for something simple as a class change. Well not no one, I know some who do it on a daily basis. But the majority of people do not want to kill 30+ bosses to undo a potential mistake they made.
Something that happens for newbies alot, as its pretty easy to slip into a Destiny cause its part of the Tutorial, without actually knowing what it implies.

So please not a donation item, and not awfully expensive. Its already such a pain to help new players with.
