That seems a'rite. Alotta extra work comparing to what I'd do tho. I'd use lightshot or Sharex to crop the faces from the picture hosting site(s) and so on into a perfect square. Sharex to mass compress the face icons to 96x96 into another folder and resume to step 4 and so on. Pretty much saves a lot more time than doing them individually.

Step 5, just use Graphic > Import; drag and select up to 3~6 images (Less characters in the image's name, the more you can select) to upload to the DMI. This also save you some time than do it individually.

Outside of that, seems pretty A'rite.
