That offensive ability is way, way too powerful. To be honest, I personally don't mind the painful grip too much. Maybe it should just be given a 2 round cooldown to prevent spam, but that's all it really needs.

The defensive ability is also overpowered. Just giving guard would already be super strong and you're putting a free parry on top. It's just too good.

That being said, some kind of defensive counterpart to painful grip would be fun. Maybe you get guard for free and like a bit of armor.
