Generally speaking, I would have a lot more sympathy for Critters if their entire system wasn't built around the action economy of "I just get more actions than you."
Really, I just hate that system as a whole. Resists knocking your momentum. Weaknesses giving you momentum. I hate it!
I would have a lot more sympathy for KDers if it wasn't so crippling, such an un-fun mechanic to get hit by, and so easy to abuse, and I say this as someone who abuses typhur.
My man you eat 12m off a whole team using a shuriken, and you complain that one dude, who only with a few class combos (and if you're counting sidecut here... lmao) , has a chance to do two actions because you put yourself in range to get hit by it.
Melee Basic hitters are usually crippled by KD because their stats are spread so thin that having a turn where they can do nothing but walk probably means they're dead next turn.
