True, high weight is meant to be a drawback but I'm seeing where Rany's coming from, the benefits aren't high enough to negate the drawback and other items are just so much more appealing because of not having this drawback. So my suggestion is Black Knight get some more love for heavy items too, Black Knight is the go to class for heavy tank/weapons.
