A reboot seems to fix them, actually.
So, I don't know if their day/night cycles get out of sync with the actual day/night or something.
ADDING ON:
The reboot seems to fix it only for a single day. Post-one day later, and it seems to stick to sunlight instead of turning into night.
To simplify things, "everywhere except the grass outside of Oniga".
