I'd rather someone just started managing time in game in a way that wasn't hard coded. There are too many things that would feel rather weird if we took every week or so to be an IC year. Like war. Or any aspect of life.

Or, inversely, we just keep it relatively unspoken because god knows trying to stick a static chronology onto this game this late in it would be rather weird. Some people just want to play a 16 year old, not a 16 year old who very quickly becomes a 20 something year old.
