I am not aware of any bugs in the new chat panel. The reason why posts are only sent to the tab you are viewing is because of a BYOND bug that caused the map to freeze.

As for the topic suggestion, I am willing to change it. It was originally this way for flavor reasons, but if it's preferred I can change it to a single-line message in the new chat system, or remove it entirely.

Or maybe make the text be displayed with a smaller font. Like this, for example, if I'm speaking quietly? Is it possible?

If at all possible, I would definitely appreciate any changes being made to be toggled in the options menu. Other than that, I'm indifferent as long as it isn't removed entirely.
