It seems that eviter will not proc for arrow based attacks if you are only holding a weapon in your main hand, it works for if there's a weapon in your sub-equip though.
EX:
Person A is equipped with galdric knuckleduster and in their sub-hand is a metalic magical gauntlet(a hand slot equip, not weapon) and is Ghost/Verglas
Person B Is using Aerial Razor
Person B shoots with Aerial razor, Person A will never proc eviter when they are facing Person B

That's because Eviter requires a sub weapon.

It doesn't require a sub-weapon, it just uses it by default.

No other parry skills equipped and active? What about player debug info?

Debug: Eviter: Carapace Crossbow, , S was a weapon so no dice.
This was the only message related to eviter, with a fist weapon equipped and no other parry skills equipped, with rank 5 eviter and rank 5 protection from arrows, I attacked 10 times and got no Eviter proc.
Weapon being used was a thorn shooter, the eviter did not proc on basic attack nor autohit.

I can say, from all of my experiences, that Eviter does not proc from any attack if there is no sub-weapon, when the description states it should (it states that the main weapon will be used if there is no sub-weapon).

Test this again in the next version and include any debug messages it gives you.

tested with the same messages, from both sides (Attacker and reciever), the second log proc'd eviter.
Though I can say that the main-hand weapon still doesn't eviter attacks.

They were not caught in the debug tab or regular tab, so that's what I'm wondering here actually, but after logging back on to do a re-test these debug messages appeared, and I honest to god don't know why these didn't pop up earlier, cause I pasted the whole log that popped up but here you go.
