Aliagmato critical attacks with Aberration Spear overwrites higher Poison levels. Tested this by inflicting someone with a LV15 Phase Fang poison, then used Aliagmato with an Aberration Spear, the final LV was 5.

Not sure how Aliagmato factors into it, this will probably occur with any critical hit with that weapon is probably uniform behavior for every status besides magnetize.

Well, it can become a problem if this suddenly let's say, reduce a Menov's Fang target's Poison LV or something around it and grief your ally Hexer's gimmick. Not sure that's how poison works, or if I'm just not understanding what you wrote up there, so.

Why not change it's effect to 'empower' Poison LV by 1 (and the effect caps at LV 5) on critical hit? Like (and unlike) the Bow of the Green Forest?

So if, for example, you go inflict Poison LV 30 with Wretched Oil, every critical hit from Aberration Spear increases the LV by 1, resulting in like, LV 35? Or is this a topic for Balance Fu?
