I'd like if there were some sort of "Static" friendship meter for some NPCs. You could raise it by presenting gifts

This isn't too bad, but seems extensive for every NPC. And the NPCs to come. Just seems like a big workload.

Though I do think that regardless of race / other factors about your character, NPCs could kind of react based on interaction (and not be a stone cold stubborn b$54@ like Erin). I should have a Change of Heart in my deck somewhere........

Although, depending on the NPC / your attributes, they should have different starting values. (Like Risu the most unpleasable person in the world.)



And having the meter go into the negatives would be interesting too. (I mean hey if you act like a jackass, you'd get treated like one, right?)

Well maybe not every NPC, but some that seem to care more about you.

Heck, some races could start off lower than others due to racism/etc.

I think that this idea IS nice. Since it'd allow most (if not all) players to immerse themselves more into the game.

Maybe if NPC relations had a bigger impact than just giving gifts and receiving something special in the end. Mabinogi has a similar system where you can do quests from NPC to raise their friendship with you, and the more they like you they will give you special services or let you access special stock.

I think it's a decent idea I suppose. Might be a bit of a waste of time compared to other things, but it'd not be bad. Perhaps they could share some info that'd lead you a bonus part of story questline? c:
