This skill is a very big crutch that sways so much in the boxer's favor, not only negating someone's attack similar to old Cobra, but also dashing you forward, maintaining your sturm and also granting you momentum back to negating an attack.
Simply put, I'd opt to tone down the momentum shift, as thats the main part of makes it so good and so abusable with classes like Evoker/Demon Hunter/Hexer and Duelist in general, so here's what I propose:
Geist Schritt should no longer grant you momentum after successfully negating an attack, then we can discuss the possibility of the basic attack and skill geist covering skills like Sidecut and Crystal Rose afterwards.

I still personally like this one, so long as it happens when they're targetted by something they're not prepared for.

I don't think that solves the biggest offender of the skill itself really, which is the huge momentum shift.

They really shouldn't be getting that momentum boost. It's straight up unfair as all hell. It's fine enough with the complete damage negation.

Shifting momentum into the boxer's favor (i guess rather literally) seems to be the theme of the skill, but a three momentum bonus is definitely too much when you're completely negating the enemy's attack. i don't personally think it would hurt the skill that much to just make it a huge damage reduction like when stalemate got nerfed, along with completely reassessing and manually fixing which attacks it deflects or not to be consistent with its description (making it work against sidecut, basic geist working on hanging instead of skill geist, not activating on non-attack skills, etc.)
rather than an outright momentum boost, which is especially problematic because of certain unforeseen combinations, i think it would fit with the theming pretty nicely to have a successful geist schritt reduce momentum costs for boxer skills (either for the next skill only, or until the end of that round).

If you shift some of the power from the complete negation of an attack and make it so that Geist Schritt reduces the momentum of your next boxer skill, this actually could be a good idea.
Its something else to put on the table I suppose.

I can get behind replacing the bonus momentum with a -momentum cost to Boxer skills, since that would prevent abusing GS's bonus momentum to utilize other classes' skills/abilities instead. Like the ol' GS > CM > Nuke to death combo. It would make Boxer a little less appealing to slap onto every class combo like a cancerous tumor.
Geist Schritt also shouldn't proc on Gentle Embers'd LB spells, though that seems more like a bug than an intended feature since the ability doesn't actually target enemies at all.

I actually like the idea of Geist Schritt making your next Boxer skill not cost any Momentum. +1
If anything, I'd ask to make this stackable up to LV2-3, so people can keep using Geist Schritt defensively to increase this buff's LV, so later they can execute pretty devastating punch combos (and lose all of your FP in one go) with Boxer all at once. But in compensation, make Geist Schritt not grant Sturm anymore.
The point of Geist Schritt is give you enough momentum to use three skills/refund the cost of your Geist Schritt for a 0M gap closer. This might also fix the problem it has in regards to Boxers who are faster than their enemies, they kind of don't make any use of the Momentum they gain, because the leeching is immediate, and it becomes their turn again even if they ended their turn.
