We should have an option in the preference menu to disable back stabs against enemies if we are leaders. Things are going so great until a solo player suddenly gets in a disadvantage situation because HE accidentally back stabs an enemy mob. For some people this can ruin their AoE as backstabbing for some reason places mobs everywhere around the map. For others (like squishy mages) are now side by side with an enemy who ignores sneak and smacks them in the face with magic.

You get a free turn though so you can just use that turn to move away if it's really that much of a problem. If you want to ensure you don't accidentally backstab enemies you can just wait until they start chasing you and just stand facing them.

Oracles wouldn't help Snake, as they only prevent back stabs iirc. And even if you get a free turn, the enemies are so randomly spread (at least in crazies) that no matter where you go, you're in danger.

I believe the oracle thing was a joke. You can just stand still though facing the mob as it aggros you and it will hit your front.

That does help, but it won't always work. There are situations where it doesn't work, small rooms with lots of mobs generally.

While it doesn't always work it the most you can do; generally backstab is as it is cause it a preemptive strike; your getting as much damage in as you can before they can react; most of the time (mages being the example) can hit, blink out and be safe; even if mobs are spread out.
