[Tactician] "This is it!"
#1
"It's time for an all out attack!"

Let's add some sort of skill for tacticians who've supported their allies properly to deal massive damage.

Once you've reached S rank, you can activate the skill. In a Circle 6 area within 5 that contains you and atleast 1 other ally, you deal Nth type unresistable damage to the enemy. For every ally extra in the area, you deal an extra Their LVL more damage. For every extra rank above S you have, you deal 25% more.

This will take a heavy FP cost on you.

Other possibilities is their HIGHEST stat, added on to yours, and then onto theres. Unresistable of course. It's meant to do a lot of damage for a heavy cost.

perhaps a passive that lets a nearby allies attack a target you are attacking, the chance scaling with rank, unresistable damage rubs me wrong.

because what you suggested is broken, with youkai, papillions, and engineers, you could get a good chunk of allies there.

It basically turns a fight with a tactician in a group into, stall until I have a high enough rank to wreck these fools.

Maybe add some skills that spend tactician rank to do good effects? Like, strategies that would be considered immoral (thus lowering rank). For example, you could target one party member (including yourself), as long as that party member remains above 0% HP, they receive 2x damage, but then all other party members gain some effect (such as less damage for themselves, more dodge, etc). Basically, real strategies that use cunning, in a way that would make you seem like a uncaring tactician.

Ditto, reminds me of a support from Awakening too. (Virion's to be exact)

A passive that gives a percent + current rating chance for a nearby ally to make an instant basic attack on the same target you hit. Target must be in range, and they might get a small bonus to hit as well.
