It was tested with both Lau'dela, and the hexer spells (for comparing the split types), and darkness damage never seemed to be any higher.

So odds are this portion of Dark Invasion isn't functioning at all.

If Dark Invasion was working properly I'd have done 5-6 more damage with the dark part of Wretched Oil over the Earthern part.

Tested with Wretched Oil. (Considering it's the easiest way to see if there's any difference between the damage types.)

Tested with Blotch, the darkness damage with Wretched Oil wasn't any different.

I also tested it with Eternal Darkness, and the damage was no different with or without Blotch.
