so there is like 2 floating points in Dancer if you destiny bard and take the perk that gives you an extra, the only element one would be lacking is dark, a dark attack similar to thunder step may be nice, maybe more range so that it doubles as movement ability-

There is a dark dance already in the Dark Bard class. Dancer/DB is pretty good solely because of how good that dance is.
Actually there is a sound-based dance as well. The only element that doesn't have a dance is acid, aside from the rare ones like null and akashic.
I think dancer could still do with a bit of a new skill though. Maybe another physical dance that uses SWA would be pretty nice.

I usually do Dancer/Performer so I forgot, I'd prefer an elemental dance over a physical tho, an acid once sounds odd

Dancer and Bard in particular are missing support for more weapon-dancing archetypes (especially fans) rather than building mage stats, aside from that tidbit, I think you could just introduce a water element dance since it's pretty conventional.

Catch me going ruler dancer to extend my slicing benten range :p
An idea for the water dance:
Dance in place and spin around as a growing wave encircles you, hitting every enemy standing exactly 2 tiles away from your current position, then hitting each enemy exactly 3 tiles away. The first wave knocks them back, allowing them to be hit by the second, and the second wave pulls them back in by 1 tile.
This would be a positioning-sensitive dance that has a unique aoe and effect.

The problem with a dance being tied to damage is that it's only 1 (2 at most, 4 if human) stat points left over. It'll have to be a support action, or an innate of some sorts.

I mean, I have 12 left over because I don't like the physical dances, I think having to make choices on what to take or not take like with the other two bard promotions may be a little better than just adding one thing
