Swapping Shells counts as an offensive action for the purposes of Earthbound Vengeance.
This is a report in the same vain as the "Shift Weapon" skills for the Artificer tomes.

They are offensive skills, so yes.

Note to self, don't make bug reports at 1am.
Updated with more relevant details. Mostly just "Earthbound Vengeance causes you to take an exorbinant amount of damage for no reason."

Yep, that's the unfortunate interaction. Maybe something that should be changed at some point, but not a bug.
