Two specific adjustments would in my opinion broaden the option of arbalest and bring back a degree of its old glory
Launchers in addition to the current rifles and bows should be available to use Cannon skills for arbalest, Jackhammer and Holy Word would allow for interesting options.
In addition Blaster trumpet could reasonably obtain the launcher tag to join them in the variety.
