Day Gobeba - Request to be a human-wizard
#1
Applicable BYOND Key - Sawrock

Character Name -  Day Gobeba

Request Type - Character-based

Request Details - I want to play as a human-wizard in Kcorvara.

Specific Request - Please note that this isn't a request to just play as a human wizard. This is a request to play as a wizard, who is human, and has a spell that can turn other people into humans against their will (and thus will require DL4).

The spell will come out with light-purple lightning-seeming energy (although it will not be electrical in nature, merely arcane) and go BZZZAP. My character will likely say "BZZZAP" as the spell is going "BZZZAP" for added effect. The parts that are "extra" would fade away from existence, replaced by any human equivalents if possible (so a shaitan would lose their carapace for human arms/hands, an elf would have their rounded ears fade into normal ears, and so forth). Think like Back to the Future fade-effect. This would work on any player-playable races, so my character wouldn't be able to turn a pig or a cherimoya into a human.

There is not a way to resist the spell when struck, but it can be dodged.

Reason why you are making this request (if applicable) - ICly, it's because my character was turned down from several jobs- the library hired an elf because they would live longer and thus be better for retaining information, the building-owner hired a corbie to clean their high-up walls, and there was a third situation, too. In his anger, he studied magic for twenty years (also known as an elven week) and developed a spell to take out his anger on those he deemed to be abusing their sanctity.

OOCly, I think it'd be hilarious.

Roleplay & Lore supporting your request - Humans can become corrupted currently, and gods turned humans into the other races in the past (the great beasts making humans into kaelensia, Zera making humans into zerans, and such). Humans aren't incapable of such mighty magic, either- the druids are the ones who are said to have cast sand onto the vast continent of Gold, albeit that Sigrogana is a different land than Kcorvara.

Due to this requiring people to remake their characters as a human if affected, I completely understand if this gets rejected (whether for that or other reasons).

As funny as this.. I'm afraid I have to deny it.

There is no mechanical support for race changing (Outside of corruption and mechanations) but also this would imply a number of things about the lore.
