Earlier in the contest, the former 2nd place DC'd, then was overtaken by the new 2nd place not too long after. When the contest ended, this happened.

Basically, I was getting awarded for both places despite there not being a 3rd place, nor actually -having- 3rd place.

So how many participants were in this contest? Just the two of you total? Want to make sure I'm understanding this correctly.

There were three of us, a third participant was involved, but they disconnected and left the 2nd place spot open, which I overtook shortly after they DC'd.
