M is me, X is them.

They fired their gun at me with chain shell. I reflected the shot back at them. Their chainshell overcharge, and high charge kicked in. Both myself, and the person firing, were counted as targets and took damage.

He was selected as a target for his own shell, as was the person who reflected it.

Honestly, it might be intentional.

Reflect chain shell, the guy who fired it got hit, it exploded, chaining to you. Both people get hurt.
