An explosive shot

Currently, Blaze Shell's high charge effect has sear tiles instead of cinder tiles, this was fine before, but since Sear's buff I think it lacks a little "Oomph" to it, making it not as worth it as a high charge shell, and with many counters to fire I think it'd be fine for the following buff:

Is it possible for Blaze Shell to have Cinder tiles instead of Sear? To wipe out sear tiles, have it synergize with Pyromancy and also just be cooler overall, I think High Charge Power*4 would be an acceptable cinder level for them as well.

Sounds good.

Shore. It'd make more people use it, at least.

Cinder tiles are a great deal more powerful than Sear tiles, so I'm going to say no. Getting dumped into a circle of Sear tiles isn't that big of a deal compared to if they were Cinders.

I think that's the issue of why Blaze Shell is so weak, is there any buffs to it that you could suggest?

If Cinders aren't an option, then may I suggest making the circle bigger? It's absurdly easy to avoid, and unlike old Sear, you can't just drop a bunch to cover an area. At least make the tiles an issue and worth considering from a tactical standpoint, instead of always just using your overcharge on the "obvious" shells, like Sonic or Celcius.

This is coming from a dedicated fire specialist who dropped MG for Evoker simply since Elemental Augment was doing more for me than Blaze Shell. I am not joking. You know Blaze Shell needs work when most of the time, I was more likely to use Engineer's Grenade Launcher!

Well, I'd prefer Cinders to Sear tiles. But I do think half it's damage (LV 60 with One Overcharge) would be a little too high for Cinders. Perhaps a third would be better? (LV 40 with One Overcharge).

Though honestly, I think the Charge Effect could use a buff too. As far as I'm aware, the Burn is still only equal to Charge Level. I think it should be more like Level*3 or maybe even Level*4.

Perhaps if it's the cinders you're worried about, then blaze shell's overcharge effect range can be reduced? Similar to how Sear was to balance out the cinder tile addition?

That is a possibility if people would prefer that, although it would mean losing a big AoE option which may/may not be a big deal considering Chain Shell exists.

You are right, I think chain shell and to a lesser extent, sonic shell are the AoE options for gunners, chain shell doesn't even require to be overcharged to be AoE either.
