Anyone who has been around SL2 for a while has heard of the apparently large amount of edgelords that populate the IC lands. We can all say that they're doing it wrong, but do you know how they're doing it wrong? Simple: they don't have their own class.

So in order to set these fools straight, I have decided to pitch such a class. Right here, right now. So without further ado:

No need to whine at GMs to let you unleash your true Edgelord; the game will do that for you. Makes everything you do completely legal and lore-friendly.

Powered by Angst (Inate) (6 Ranks)

Your capabilities are literally powered by unusual levels of angst. Every time you express angst, you regain (6*Rank) FP. If "In My Own Blood" is equipped, this skill recovers HP instead.

Living on the Edge (Inate) (1 Rank)

Being an Edgelord requires consistent recklessness, inability to recognize happiness (unless it involves a love interest), and of course, getting into situations where you can die at the drop of a hat. While being edgy, you cannot drop below 1 HP, but you cannot regain HP while in battle. Mercana also either fails to help you or always hurts you, for some reason.

Cursed with Awesome (Inate) (6 Ranks)

If you're an Edgelord, you have something dark and ridiculous powering you, be it your secret half-half-half-quarter devil side, the soul of Zera stuck in your liver, a contract with the Void, or having a bunch of demons that serve you unfailingly but haunt your every move. Increases all statistics by +(Rank*2). This does not count towards your Bonus Stat limit. You also gain +31 Skill Points for the Edgelord class.

Angsty Persuasion (Inate) (1 Rank)

The best way to get through to other is pure, unadulterated angst. Need someone gone? Angst about them and make everyone else want to kill them. Trying to get that sealed, super-powerful demonic weapon? Angst about your strength and stairs to the artifact will literally appear in front of you. Your lover left you because you cheated with a dozen other people and killed their parents on a whim? Just apply angst and watch them come begging for you to take them back. While being angsty, you unlock special dialogue options, influence other PCs, and get 100% discounts on items in any shop.

Eleventh Hour Excuse (Passive) (1 Rank)

You tend to pull out all the stops when you're about to die. When your HP is exactly 1, you gain access to every skill in the game.... as long as you go completely ham. While staying edgy.

In My Own Blood (Passive) (1 Rank)

There's nothing quite as edgy as powering your attacks with your own blood. While active, you will pay FP costs with your HP. If your HP is at 1 or would go below 1, all FP costs are negated.

Ow the Edge (Passive) (6 Ranks)

You are so edgy, other people get deep cuts just by being near you. Whenever anyone moves into or does anything within two tiles of your location, they take unresistable Slash damage equal to (11*Rank).

I'm More Edgy (Passive) (1 Rank)

A battle with two or more Edgelords is basically a pissing contest. As long as you are acting more edgy than everyone else, all other Edgelords have their skills negated.

Edgemoar (Active) (1 Rank)

66 FP / 6M. Makes your weapon as edgy as you are. Fully restores the durability of all weapons you have equipped and doubles their statistics for 6 rounds.

Face My Dark Side (Active) (6 Ranks)

66 FP / 6M. Summons a dark force of your choosing for 6 rounds. They all attack indiscriminately, but if they hurt your love interest, you instantly kill them:
-Summons (111*Rank) Level 66 Demons.
-Summons a Level 666 Dark God, with (111*Rank) in all stats.
-Unleashes your dark side, giving you a special icon and increasing all stats by (11*Rank).

I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER MY TRAGIC PAST (Active) (6 Ranks)

66 FP / 6M. Drowns everyone else out with a monologue of your ridiculously angsty background. All enemy Invocations and and Installs within (Rank) tiles are cancelled, and all affected enemies cannot cast spells or summon Youkai for (Rank) rounds.

These Wounds Will Never Heal (Active) (6 Ranks)

66 FP / 6M. Must be at 1 HP to use. Utilize ridiculous powers to share your suffering with everyone you fight against. Up to (Rank) enemies lose HP equal to your missing HP. Can only be used once per battle.

Eternal Sin of the Edge (Active) (6 Ranks)

666 FP / 6M. Call upon forces so dark and powerful that even the Akashic Record is shaken up. Instantly kills one enemy in an over-the-top, edgy action. At Rank 6, that enemy is also removed from the game if it's an NPC, or has its save file deleted and then booted from the game if it's a PC.
