Vorpal Enchant
#11
Shot A procs vorpal enemies defense is 4, +1 damage for this shot

Shot b doesn't proc, no bonus

Shot c doesnt proc

Shot d procs +1 damage

Akimbo shot's don't proc item effects.

this is what I meant.
The damage of a proc is divided by the rounds total of the weapon. it is not divided over all shots, just the shot that proc'd, making vorpal 'weaker' on handguns, in the same way that handguns are naturally weaker per shot.

The bonus damage being divided by your rounds is also a possibility. They'll both have a similar effect, but cutting the damage will result in a bigger impact, because it lowers the variance (if you somehow manage to get 4 procs of Vorpal with the reduced proc chance, it's 4x DEF, whereas if you get 4 procs of Vorpal with the reduced damage, it's the same as if you got only 1 with the way it currently works).

Also if you just lowered proc Chance people would use yin and yang without extended grips, leaving the proc chance at /2 then doubledao

At 5% per shot and at max 12-15 shots that's a good 50%- 75% of a proc per turn

Disclaimer: I'm sure this is right, but if it's not, say so politely.

The chance of an event happening multiple times in a row is (Chance)^Repetitions. Say, you wanted to flip heads twice in a row. You have a one in two chance of flipping heads, and you're trying twice, so that's (.5)^2, or 1/4.

Assuming that the Proc chance for Vorpal is 10%, you have a 90% chance -not- to proc Vorpal. So, over 10 shots, that's (.90)^10, or 34.87% chance to -not- proc Vorpal. Inversely, this means you have a 65.13% chance to proc Vorpal at -least- once. Compare that to the 10% chance of single-shot guns, and there's a pretty big disparity.

*Bows*

EDIT: Apparently, the proc chance for Vorpal is 10%.

As an FYI. I'm completely fine with Double Dao getting the 'half shots' treatment. Namely because it fires 6 times for five momentum. Compared to the 16-18 shots if you don't move akiimbo gets. Which means that if you stand still, completely still, you get 12 shots. Which also means that your enemy can't move whatsoever, and also means that you have to be a Duelist. If they smack you away or move away themself, you lose the ability to Double Dao.

its why vorpal is so amazing on multishots, 10% chance to proc x 2-4 times
