Notice on the Law's End Pub
#1
On the door of the Law's End Pub is a neatly written piece of laminated stationary, taped securely with four long strips along each border.

This establishment is now the property of the Bailey Family.

To those whom previously maintained these premises, thank you for your service.

In recognition of your work, we will allow you to continue operating this business, for fifteen thousand (15,000) Murai every four months.

Failure to pay rent will result in eviction. Thank you in advance.

OOC Note: Four IC months is 15 IRL days.

Tacked onto the stationary with an arrow cutting through the center of it reads a note.

"It would be wise not to tread on territory that doesn't belong to you. This is a warning and will be treated only as such, for the time being. If you wish for trouble, then please try again. We'll be waiting."

On the bottom of the note is a mark imprinted as such;

Quote:OOC Devourer Of Souls: I did literally nothing and have never played YGO in my life.
OOC Black Chaos X: OOC Devourer Of Souls: no one activated zera ritual
OOC Blissey: HHHAHAHAAA
OOC Devourer Of Souls: That's fake.

The arrow, along with the note, has been removed.

The original declaration now remains, still torn in the center.

With the new owners of the bar in Law's End has come a thriving business. Regular guarded shipments have been coming at a steady rate to support the demand. The bar has been renovated heavily and menu's have been put on the tables. It actually looks kind of like a nice sit down restaurant with a bar for those who simply wish to drink away their sorrows. It's gaining quite a lot of popularity with it's moderately priced dinner dishes and friendly staff!

"[url=http://sl2.wikia.com/wiki/Law%27s_End Wrote:The Wiki »[/url]"]Not only could someone gut you if you rock the boat, but many of those high in power could just as easily sell you out to the people you're running from, which is in some cases even worse.

...

What remains is a weird sense of community, looking out for others, hoping they'll look out for you. As long as you aren't working for the law, and don't cause problems, you're welcome in Law's End. Well... at the very least, they won't kick you out.

(If you want to run the pub if no one else is doing it? Fine. But taking it over by force is indeed "causing trouble." Suddenly insisting that it's yours and demanding large sums of money is "causing trouble" and the locals don't take kindly to that. At least the guards who'd stop you from doing the same to Pink's Pub will take you alive. Your shit has ICly been wrecked. Have a nice death.)

( if I were the first person to have tried this, maybe I'd care about what you have to say. Dark void, kthxbye. Ignored)

(Dark Void isn't an excuse. Everyone assumes that just because no laws, they're welcome to be assholes. On the contrary, you'd have better luck taking over Pink's Pub. At least the guards will make an effort to take you in alive.)

(I will refer you to the gm Decision of taking over a part of Laws End. You will be completely fine, and can easily deal with anyone who attacks you unless they are a player bandit. This result was made with 2 gms. )

(I will refer you to the GM's defense of someone attempting to make an arrest in Law's End, not firing said guard, and the fact that even before the lord blurb was added, the fact that guards take murderers in alive and release them later, when, as Air states it, "The Empire is notorious for cutting it's problems in half." The GMs are not lore experts and make mistakes, themselves.)

EDIT: (I actually just got followed around by someone OOCly flinging crap over this, in game. Really? I get it, people want to get their way and will be immature when they're told no. Whoever it was, this is the only time I'm saying this. Next time I go straight to reporting.)

( Im not even around a computer do look else where there. As for the guard not murdering, that isn't what I said at all... Im saying that if the guard went there, sure they could mess you up. However the npcs of Laws End will not go against and fight you. The dark void had two gms defending their actions of taking the place over. If a player wishes to rp as a bandit that lives there and mess with it, then yes you can do that. Otherwise not. )
