When you possess black or white spirits and then open the interface to view or release them, the "Release All" option does not release any of the spirits.

This should be corrected. What I assume is going on is you have the Spirit Shell trait or a Soul Jar equipped.

I did have Frosted Dog Collar equipped now that I'm thinking back on it. Still, I was able to release them individually even with that accessory equipped.
