All things considered, yeah, Chaos's idea is pretty good.

(also don't judge originally the stat would drain completely at the end of a battle making it almost impossible to pull off in most cases)

But, if the chain idea were to still be considered... Given how hard it is to actually pull it off, I don't think a debuff should be applied at the end.

Then again, most things should die after hit with them, depending. So, yeah.
