Hmmm. Maybe the slash should just be bonus damage. . Seems kind've strange that if you're hit by the move, you can still dodge the actual slasher part.

I'd be okay with this if they didn't have much hp to break. Griefing is real. Also make campfires able to be destroyed. You can literally buy 50 of them and block out a path for a good 10 minutes.
