The Wandering Sermon |

Throughout the eastern regions of Sigrogana, off the beaten paths, a black coach visits several remote hamlets. A hulking cloaked figure driving it, well guarded, as it pauses only for one of its passengers to exit. A finely dressed young woman, who takes stage wherever appropriate to deliver her message.
Quote:"People of Sigrogana, harken to me! We live in a world with many blessings, life in many forms. Yet there still lies fear. Fear of monsters, of brigands and ne'er do wells. Of unrelenting beasts, madmen and abominations that conspires against us all. And what has your Empire done? Nothing! Hounds of blackest night lay siege to your cities day by day, numbers beyond counting, yet Elial remains silent. Madmen unleash constructs of terror and destruction upon your houses of entertainment, yet Elial turns a blind eye. The dead themselves rise from their graves to take the living with them, and Elial utters not a word! The common man, the common soldier, are all fodder to your Empire. Sheep to the slaughter, so that you may die in their place. All this time, you--the people of the Empire. You, and you alone have fought and bled to save your home and hearth."
The woman would pause to take a breather, to prepare to speak on if the villagers hadn't run them out by that point.
Quote:"I speak to you now of salvation. Of unity. To purge the world of all evil, of all sin. I speak to you of our Queen. By her will, all people, all that reside upon this world shall live in harmony. I ask of you, my fellow people, to put aside your differences. There are no monsters in this world. There are only the unenlightened. Be it the beasts that reside in the Black Doors, or the bandits pilfering your markets, they can all be changed. All you must do is follow her will."
A scroll of parchment would be withdrawn at this point, if the audience was content. At least one hamlet allowed this much, perhaps due to a lack of attendance.
Quote:All are equal on Sigrogana. It is our promised land, that gods and men alike fought and bled for. There are no monsters. Only those who resist Her will.
The Queen is the only judge of life and death. By her word men prosper, and by her wrath they suffer. Those who see themselves above life and death, see themselves above the Queen, and they must be set in place.
No faith shall prosper above Her Will. The reign of gods is over. The Dominator Zera seeks death and destruction to all, the White Lady seeks prosperity and life to her fold alone. Both usurp Her Will, and must not be tolerated. Zera must rest eternally, and Mercala must be silenced.
Your fellow man is second only to the Queen. Treat them with the respect and kindness they deserve, for we all work toward the same goal.
Her will shall be done. The voice of the Queen is law, and we are her enforcers. For under her rule all shall prosper.
False prophets have no place in Her world, they must be enlightened to her will or perish.
Life is favored over death. Conversion over cadavers. Slay not the ill-informed, the weak-minded, the coerced, and the blinded. Show them the light, show them her will.
Another moment of silence, before the young woman would bow toward whomever may be gathered, or nothing in particular.
Quote:"Thank you all for your time. May the Queen watch over you all."
Departing in the black coach, a slow retreat as they'd move from hamlet to hamlet, never once crossing the main roads of Sigrogana. Sightings of this black coach being scarce beyond its arrivals, no more of it being seen after a week of these speeches. Never visiting the same village twice.
Perhaps it may come again some day?

Dullahan Evasion |

To put it simply: Dullahan characters cannot use global Evasion. But, rather than just saying ‘Dev please fix’, I have an idea. Instead of making it to just a bug fix or a balance issue, here’s a thought:
Dullahan characters, rather than being treated like they always have Heavy Armor for the sake of Evasion, have a 20% damage reduction penalty to Evasion, and this penalty is reduced by (SAN/3)%.
So, for an example, a Dullahan wearing an Unarmored torso and has 30 scaled SAN could proc Evasion, but due to the penalty being 20-(SAN/3)%, their Evasion would only reduce the damage by 20% rather than the usual 30%.
But, when a Dullahan character is using Soul Rage, this penalty is reduced by 10%, as a raging Dullahan is said to be fast and dangerous to take on, so it’d only make sense that a raging Dullahan would be faster and harder to hit head-on as a result (and also to counteract the monumentally high damage Soul Rage does per round to them).
This could either replace the racial that treats them as if they’re always wearing Heavy Armor, or be part of the new trait system we got a peek at (something along the lines of Streamlined Armor).
Thoughts?

Lead Storm's new, faster processing leaves it too little time before giving the user their turn back, notably when using a multi-round gun/firing on multiple targets.
So what ends up happening is if I, for example, fired a Quickdraw at 5 enemies, I could still be shooting and have my turn back, then move away while I'm still shooting.
Like Fleeing Spectres used to suffer from before at far range, I think just adding a few more seconds before giving the turn back might fix it.

Durability |

Durability doesn't have a large enough impact for some builds, its important for things like Eviter and blade barrier, but really only ever eviter and blade barrier.
This allows even basic attack heavy attackers like duelist to get away with some enchants like Rustic and some weapon mods like Razor Blade with little lasting impact on their weapon. (Never seen a Hisen user ever have trouble with durability, despite its low low rate.)
Here's what I think, basic attack skills such as Hanging, Sidecut, Power Grad etc. should all use 1 durability when used, Maybe this'd cause some people who actually worry about it for once, especially when choosing their enchantments now that Divine Eye is so accessible.
The reason as to why only basic attacks is because basics usually have far better rewards than autohits, not only boasting momentum gained on crit which is further amplified by duelist, but also regenning FP with Chivalry and battle spirits, and doing additional damage with critical hit checks.
Its a heavy shift, but one that might be worthwhile for overall duelist and arbalest/ranger balance, I'd like some thoughts shared, and/or concerns.

Long, Dark, and Wooden |

Long Darkwood Tables automatically jump up 2 layers from the one you set them to, up to a maximum of 30, in two different situations.
One, if they occupy the same layer as other items they will jump above those in priority.
Two, the odd one here, the home owner moving via a portal
Also, as a sidenote, when you move long darkwood tables, they reset to layer 30. Every time.

Items placed on Item Mounts need an option to specify the layer of the item, so that you can set them to appear in front of something placed on top of the mounts. IE, you set something up to have items from mounts appear over tables to simulate, well.. Items on tables.

You go to edit a sign's text in a house. You decide you don't want to do that and press cancel. You are now stuck in place and cannot move, no matter how much you try. You can turn by holding shift and pressing whichever direction still, but movement is impossible.
I have literally no idea why this could happen.

Crystal Rose is incredibly strong. Too much so to be as large of an AoE it is, in my opinion. We're not even discussing how ludicrous it is for an AoE to score critical hits today.
I have a few ideas on how to fix this.
One, crystal rose could be toned down- have the scaled weapon attack or ice attack lowered by a fair chunk. Duelists are always going to have a large amount of ice attack for skill so they can hit, so lowering that to even something like 30% would still net them a fair amount of damage.
Two, crystal rose's size could be lowered by one, or even two squares. I think that would be fair, given how insane you can get the damage output to be.
