I think this should let you use all of Soldier's offensive skills with either a Tome or a Sword. Tactician could use the extra to give it more use from Soldier, or let it use a shield.

Can Roc's Rise grant knockdown immunity for a round or two after it triggers? Currently you can get knocked down multiple times in a row and get your feathers absolutely deleted before you can move, made worse if you proc riposte.
Picture this:
I just ended my turn with a refreshed 30 feathers after a finished Boon of Apus rotation. With the exception of my Feather Veil about to run out next turn, I'm thriving, my skin is clear, my crops are watered and I'm airborne, ready to recast Feather Veil and then strike next turn.
A demon hunter comes up next to me with their shotgun. They shoot me in the face, knocking me down. My riposte procs and I crit, giving me back 2 momentum, which gives me a turn and trigger's Roc's Rise. It instantly deletes 12 feathers, while I can do absolutely nothing with my 2 momentum. I end my turn. They proceed to use Chaser on me, sending me sprawling again. My turn comes around, proccing Roc's Rise and eating another 12 feathers.
I have 6 feathers left (actually less because I got feathers used up when I got displaced by Chaser). My Feather Veil has just expired and I have nothing left to cast it without either waiting or engaging in a 10 momentum skill rotation to refresh Boon of Apus. I'm decrepit and featherless, my skin is riddled with wounds, and the only thing watering my crops are my tears.
This is an actual scenario that has happened to me before. 24 feathers deleted in one turn because I could keep getting knocked down over and over is INSANE. Even outside of Riposte situations proccing the double activation, the fact that you can get 12 feathers deleted by getting KDed turn after turn and just have your class resource depleted quickly is both unfun and sometimes even actively detrimental as a class mechanic (to the point where I frequently consider not equipping it at all) especially when you compare it to something like Martial Artist's Kip-Up getting you back up at no cost.
I think Roc's Rise should either cost less (2 or 3 feathers per momentum recovered instead of 4) and give knockdown immunity until the end of your next round or stay the same cost and have two rounds of immunity.

Exgalfa right now is actually pretty good! It does pretty good damage! But is still somewhat inconsistent even with high luck values.
My proposal: Base Exgalfa chance is 50% to increase or decrease, and increases by scaled luck. So 50 scaled luck always increases the damage instead of it still not being consistent. If we gonna invest in values, we may as well get use out of them!

If you start the battle with an On My mark Cast Order, and then cast an invo the cast order will be consumed for the invocation beginning and won't increase the damage of the invocation.

[Korvara] Stein - Gleamweaving and Undead Runes |

Applicable BYOND Key - Taklis
Character Name - Stein Sigmund Tjalve Yngvar
Request Type - Ability Request
Request Details - Many people struggle to manage their love for their significant other, how they handle their affection, how they handle their betrayal or their departure of their lives -- It's a struggle to understand sometimes, what it's like that your partner chooses to leave you for another, or that they die and you're left to carry their ashes, and this story... Has a twisted way to find itself in this margin.
Stein was devoted to his two partners for many years, and in his belief his marriage was nothing short of normal -- To have two people who would grant him peace of mind and help him provide for the rest of his community was all he needed to make his life peaceful.
But things changed drastically when one of his partners died -- It lead to Stein becoming altered, and to use his magical studies to seek an answer. For months he neglected his living partner and their child, to find an answer, to find a solution.
To be able to recover what he lost, he took to the south -- headed to Duyuei to learn about the gleam, and combined it with his knowledge of Runes, trying to maximize the power, making the art of runic enchantments able to restore flesh, to restore those who were living... but he found himself wanton. He went back home to study more, to seek out more, and his life couldn't find peace and normality anymore... turning him stressed.
His partner and child worried for him, but understood his devotion and his grief, though lacked the understanding for his path. This rift grew over the course of months, until Stein finally came back. His eyes turned hopeful, as he spoke to them, and for the next few weeks, everything seemed normal... For those who were around, it was strange how Stein's family home ended up in flames, and the only survivor was Stein who seemed now more than ever... lost in those hopeless eyes. But the truth was more dark, more horrid, as Stein had asked for help. He needed to experiment... and he trusted his arcane skills and his family's trust to see it through, for love, for their people. Only to end up with a horrifying sight, in his experimentation, he turned his family to a monstruosity, sacrificed in his search to bring back the one he lost, he lost everyone else and himself. So he hid it, burned it all. And yet, when his new life was taken up in new responsibility... He kept researching, and the runes he worked so deeply with, became his sinful tact, his monstrous work, and his mind found itself tormented by the beckoning of his vile acts.
And now...?
Temptation made him want to make things right by learning more, and now his hand carries a power that raises the dead, and makes them into beasts for Stein's dreadfully tainted heart that cannot be remedied.
Specific Request - Stein is capable of creating two specialized types of runes:
- A Gleamweaving Rune, channeled by his connection to the light, he concretely summons runes that unlike most, are capable of mending flesh by being placed upon a person's body. These runes would follow the understanding that exists of Gleamweaving, but channeled through the power of a Rune, capable of being turned more powerful by adding more sigils and pieces of the runework, going from the power of restoring minor wounds to healing rather intense wounds should the rune be large enough. The Gleamweaving Rune would take a similar role to how a Null Rune works, though instead of disabling the runes that are attached, it would transfer their elemental power to healing power, destroying all harmful elements of the rune, and making it into a tool for restoration.
- A Rune of Undeath that channels his focus on a formerly perished body, be it human or otherwise, that allows the body to become functional, though causing some alterations to it, and causing it to become hostile, while it will usually prioritize others that aren't Stein, but if there's no one except Stein, it will attack him. Stein cannot control the undead, and can only undo his own undead by using a Null Rune on them.
This rune when combined to other runes, becomes ineffective towards those who are living, and instead, only function to bring back those who are dead, though, not entirely. The larger the rune, the larger the corpse that can be brought back, but it isn't a simple "Put-on and go" type of deal. The Rune takes time, as it channels Stein's focus onto the corpse, if the corpse is too large, and Stein's focus pool is insufficient to sustain it, the Rune will break. And when a Rune is applied, it has to be disarmed by a Null Rune, or by destroying the Rune, otherwise, the undead will roam and act violently without control.
Reason why you are making this request (if applicable) - Stein's horrible acts in his past seem like they'd become further bolstered by a story that doesn't paint Stein as a good man. His grief and grieving are self-caused, and the punishment has made him a worse person -- He cannot fully embrace his actions, and as such, he is a wolf in sheep's clothing -- Acting like an innocent man that channels horrible power for his own twisted guilt, grief, and desire -- Trying to find justification of his actions in a horribly twisted and depraved way, all while acting like a normal person. I want this to be a story that doesn't find depth in the fact he's a grieving soul, but in that his suffering is completely avoidable, and that his struggle is one of realizing his actions, and evolving past it, while creating his possible path to be an antagonist.
Roleplay & Lore supporting your request - After inquiring, I know that Runes can heal, and I wanted to see if that could be extended to fully be able to utilize the power of the gleam on them and then further take it to extend to the dark and more twisted elements of the story, however I don't know about the lore that goes into Undeath in the game. And lastly, given I am making him with the desire to do this, I have no roleplay to support this yet.

A Grab Bag of Potential |

I like thinking of things to suggest, mostly cause weapon potentials are my favorite item system in the game, many of them don't go suggested but I felt the need to at least include these ones on the forums, even if I know they're not likely to be included, most of these just seek to add a little flavor to certain items and/or increase their self-synergy a bit, at the very least I think they're interesting to consider.
This isn't a list of things that I think are needed to be in the game to make it more balanced/fun etc. I mostly just like thinking of things to suggest from time to time.
Quote:Boxing Gloves - Potential
Changes the Crack Knuckles skill, tap your gloves together and step 1 tile forwards, gaining 2 Sturm and increasing blunt damage dealt by 10% for 3 rounds.
(Additionally it has a bell sound effect instead of cracking knuckles)
Quote:Handgun - Potential
Grants a new skill, Spur.
Spur (2T CD)- 1m, use a thumb to pull back the hammer, enhancing your next basic attack to deal 150% damage across 6 rounds. Using this attack will end your turn.
Quote:Rogue Dasher - Potential
Grants you Thorn Scratch, which can be used with this weapon, moving over an enemy also attaches sticky wooden barbs to their armor, making them count as being equipped with light armor for 2 rounds.
Quote:Wrench - Potential
Grants new skill, Crude Solution
Crude Solution (3T CD) - Targets an enemy in 5 range, and tosses your wrench at them, performing a basic attack on them that can possibly inflict spelldaze and confusion for 2 rounds.
Quote:Whip - Potential
Grants new skill, ankle wrap.
Ankle Wrap (3T CD) - Targets an enemy in 5 range, wrapping your whip around their leg and yanking suddenly, making an infliction check against them that will knockdown an enemy and causes them to take unprotectable blunt damage equal to their level.
Infliction check uses 80% of your status infliction, but is increased by 100% of your scaled GUI
Quote:Blind Bright - Potential
Morning Star (3T CD) - Targets a straight line (5-10 Range) ahead of you, whipping all enemies in those tiles that deals physical blunt damage (125% Scaled Weapon ATK) and leaves light shafts in it's path and in the tile you're standing on, the tip at the end of the whip then explodes, dealing light magic damage to enemies in a 3 range circle around it, also creating light shafts.
Undead, Ghosts, Vampires and Possessed take additional fire damage (100% Fire ATK) and may be stunned if hit by this skill. If targeting a player, it instead inflicts burn LV40.

Youkai Regalia Suggestion |

Could it be possible to use any of your mercenaries as a sprite for youkai regalias? I don't think this would cause any clarity issues, and there's a few monsters that could be cool for youkai such as minotaurs, walruses, etc.
I think this would be a really good addition to the item, and I'd really like to be able to make my youkai into something like a Frost Tyrant, I'd also like to make it into a Relei but I'm fine with not being able to do that.

A fruit (or some way) for Chimera to purge additions to their body.
Maybe you just don't want to have undead claws anymore because you changed builds and realized Wow! Being undead really sucks. Maybe you just are repurposing a character!
Let us purge these additions and start over for the low low cost of 1.1k murai. Amalgama get to do it.
