Pale Lauders don't seem to ever drop anything, despite claims of them having a craft material for a drop.

They also have a habit of popping up in the arena, which, considering how monsters there don't have drops...it seems odd to me that they'd be able to occur there.

I know this is probably already a known issue but, no thread was made yet, so, here it is.

I think that the effects of the 10* non-weapons were made with the assumption they would be 24 UL like Weapons can but Armor can only get up to 18 UL and other items only 12 UL, which leads to some peculiar numbers.

Such as with the Turtle Shell.

This would be 19% when fully upgraded, kinda weird to me. Maybe it should be UL+2% to make it 20%?

Then there's the Thunder Hooves.

So when fully upgraded, it deals 13 Lightning magic damage when you Kick an enemy. You can build up to 12 Electrocharges and when you have 18 Electrocharges, you can get the expend effect.

The UL+1 in these items makes me think it was intended to be UL 24 so it would be 25 and not 19/13 respectively.

It's probably simply a case of doubling the UL scaling for most 12 UL items. And probably adding a small bonus for the 18 UL Armor (E.g. UL+2% with Turtle Shell.)

Hi. The thing we have for house doors, where you can open/lock/unlock them by using different combinations of E, Shift+E, and Crtl+E? We need that for doors in dungeons too, please.

E: attempt to open door (equals doubleclick)
Shift+E: attempt to lockpick door (equals shift+click)
Ctrl+E: attempt to bash door (equals ctrl+click)


Why this is not already a thing is beyond me.

  Vorpal Strike for guns

It seems that since the last update, Vorpal Strike for guns has increased their damage exponentially, This is because while before it added defense as damage, this was sorta fine, but not now when the formula crits the defense as bonus damage.

For example: My 40 defense character gets vorpal critted for 60 extra damage, so if a quickdraw were doing about 20 damage per shot and then Vorpal kicked in, it would do 80 damage on a vorpal crit, with stuff like Quickdraws existing this is pretty overbearing imo. Tank busting should exist, but guns already do that so..

What I'm suggesting is to change the effects of Vorpal for guns.

First suggestion: Change it to give guns +10% crit and nothing else, no bonus damage, the whole point of Vorpal is to ignore defense occasionally and guns already do that.

Second Suggestion: Change Vorpal so that it gives guns +10% crit and extra critical % damage at the same chance as the current vorpal chance, as in changing the multiplier from 1.5x to 2x or something.


I might also suggest just raising the chances of Vorpal across the board to 15% for all weapons.

  Unbouncy Bouncers

Appearently, bouncers can't actually kick or bar people from houses. At least from our recent experiences.

SITUATION 1: We have an undesirable in our house. I attempt to kick this person from the house, and nothing happens. Owner bars them and they're out. We don't question it and just carry on.
SITUATION 2: We have someone wandering around our house, which is fine since the first floor is public use. Someone accidentally leaves the door to the second floor open, and they practically instantly run up. Person upstairs tells them they need to leave, and they refuse. I was told to oocly kick them, and it appears to not work. Owner just does it himself after hearing that we're having issues with it.

I attempted to test this. I logged onto a character who has nothing to do with anything related to the house or anything and attempted to kick them, and it did not work. I got the message that said "You have been ejected from the house." but my character was still allowed to roam freely within the house. The owner then kicked that alt, and they were actually ejected from the house.
I'm not actually sure if this is a thing that happens with other players, but it still does seem like a bug.

Not sure if this is even intented but..
Can we have WInter bite only remove positive Ice resistances instead of weaknesses too?
Right now if you winter bite someone with, let´s say a red letter and a scarf and Mountain boots, he has a -15% so after winters bite I kinda expected it to jump back to -75% but it actually jumps up to 0% so it actually buffs him xD

  Dream Seeker crash on SL2 startup

As of this morning, when I attempt to start SL2 from the BYOND pager, Dream Seeker crashes immediately after the ad is played. If it's not been long enough since the last ad for a new one to play, it crashes immediately.

There have not been any updates to my computer or its settings. Other BYOND games start up just fine, including SL1 and SS13.

I have already cleared my cache and redownloaded SL2 resources.
I have already uninstalled and reinstalled BYOND.
Neither of these things were a fix.

I think it's kinda stupid that to use a dragon sword you either have to look like butt 24/7 or equip it right before a fight.

It should either only apply in battle, or better yet, have a button in the mirror interface to toggle showing effects when out of battle (Ice Point skills being the only other things that come to mind).

  Lightning Shoes Are a Dud

The new ten star shoes do not stack charges. After moving three different times, the status stayed at 10 duration, 1 lvl. Even after using rye for 83 damage, the status was 10 duration, 1 lvl. The shoes were level 1, but I don't believe this is intended behavior.
