  [Black Doors] Intraplanetary Youkai
Posted by: Ranylyn - 07-01-2015, 10:12 AM - Forum: Bug Reports - Replies (1)

Just a little something I noticed during a party last night. Did not screenshot due to a lack of resources (crappy comp.)

Youkai can be summoned inside a planet inside the new Black Door battlefields. Was witnessed with Apus inside the Saturn-like one. It was manually placed, not Summon Stormed.

I can go test and provide a screenshot if required, but I believe this may be enough information.

  [Headshot] More mishaps.
Posted by: Ranylyn - 06-30-2015, 10:30 PM - Forum: Bug Reports - Replies (1)

- You cannot headshot some bosses that are Humanoid, such as Ashe. Untested against Kinu, but the humanoid, non-Kinu story bosses are universally headless.
- You CAN headshot Seeker Flames, but not Firesplitters, which seems like a goofy slip-up.
- Wondering if headshotting Wings of Fire is intentional, given the description of the Chemical Reaction skill.

  [Board] Weiss Academy
Posted by: Normal Username - 06-30-2015, 11:28 AM - Forum: Sigrogana - Replies (25)

Ever desired to study?
Wanted to feel how being a student is like?
Or just plain-out want to try something new?
Fret not for Weiss Academy is now open for enrollment!
For as low as 100 murai, you can guarantee yourself or your child grade-A education!
To enroll, simply post a note underneath this one!
ONLY basic information is to be added, other information will be asked in the interview!

(OOC: Basically, an academy for those who wants new RP in Sigrogana, OOOOR someone who's just bored-- like me. Anyway, to enroll, post your character's name, age, and possibly, race. The payment will either be purely RP or if you want, you can really hand the murai. Not really important though. Anyway, the interview date will be announced one there's more than enough participants for this to actually work.)

  Unban Request
Posted by: JJKoshane - 06-30-2015, 12:24 AM - Forum: Unban Requests - Replies (2)

ADMIN: TheGreatPoobah was banned for 1e+008 minute(s) for the following reason: Do monkey around somewhere else.

Game you were banned from: Sigrogana Legend 2
In-game name (key): TheGreatPoobah
Reason you were banned: "Do monkey around somewhere else."
The length of the ban, if you know: "1e+008 minute(s)"
Who banned you, if you know: Slydria
Why we should unban you: A seemingly permanent ban for a Mechanation character designed as an orangutan, a silly character for my sibling to run around the game OOCly and explore its mechanics with. No rules were broken and no warnings were issued regarding this character. The ban was unjust and I am an active member of the community who assists new players getting into the game and into RP.

P.S. Orangutans are apes.

  Weak Jump
Posted by: MegaBlues - 06-29-2015, 11:18 PM - Forum: Suggestions - Replies (1)

The Rabbit Jump skill for Leporidae costs a skill slot, 10 FP to use, 3M, and only moves you 7 spaces. Which isn't much further, if at all, than most people can run naturally. To increase the range to 10, you need to give up a trait point and another skill slot. So, overall, this skill is pretty weak, even for a racial.

I would either drop the FP cost, reduce the momentum cost, increase the movement without Long Jump, or make it not cost a skill slot. Or some combination thereof.

I don't even need to look at my target.
Posted by: Autumn - 06-29-2015, 12:02 PM - Forum: Suggestions - Replies (3)

This is mainly about Sidecut, only a small tweak, Sidecut is a great distance closer and attack at the same time, but usually you only end up using it on your remaining momentum, leaving you to be vulnerable to back attacks after using it (so you can't riposte or stalemate either.)

A very small tweak, if Sidecut hits, then you turn to face the target you hit last, if it doesn't hit then you don't turn at all, to give your attacker the chance to counter attack.

Perhaps apply this to other gap closers as well, who knows.

  Rain, Rain, Go Away
Posted by: catabur - 06-28-2015, 10:38 PM - Forum: Bug Reports - Replies (6)

If you're in a location and it starts raining, it won't stop until you move to a different screen/log off (after it's supposed to stop, I think).
I've only seen this happen in Cellsvich, but that is mainly because that's the only place I've stayed at for a long time.

  A Very Minor Tweak
Posted by: Nytingale - 06-28-2015, 07:12 PM - Forum: Suggestions - Replies (3)

This shouldn't really be considered a suggestion, 'cause it's so very minor, but I couldn't think of where else to post it so... *shrug*

So, when dragging items around from one grid to another on your interface; the items may give a prompt to ask how much of said item you wish to move. It's become somewhat like a pet-peeve of mine now, but I'd really like if you could just set the value the prompt opens with from 1 to the maximum quantity that item currently has -- It'd help a great lot when selling items to pawn shops. Also, while we're on the matter, I've noticed that it's like this when moving items from your storage to inventory, but not from inventory to storage; and, it's odd how when you're returning items from your "shopping cart" (or "selling cart", depending on how you look at it), it prompts this for items that don't even stack (weapons, armour, gold, accessories, etc).

  [Seeker Flame] Hit? What Hit?
Posted by: Ranylyn - 06-28-2015, 06:40 PM - Forum: Bug Reports - Replies (1)

Seeker Flames used by players or allied firefoxes seem to have an inordinately high dodge chance against PVE mobs.

Tested with a level 6 Seeker Flame against level 12 PVE mobs and level 6 Arena opponents. The Seeker Flame dodged well over half the time. While BW couldvery well be affecting the arena opponents, when a PVE boss like a level 12 Omega Jammer (Vs a level 6 flame) or a Level 10 Gigas Rex (Against a level 4 flame) miss far more than they hit, it really does raise some suspicion.

I'm guessing this isn't supposed to happen due to Seeker Flames not even seeming to gain stats as levels rise, just Kamikaze damage. This goes above and beyond typical RNG variance. Sure, I've missed 7 attacks in a row at 98% hit before, but we're talking boss mobs that would theoretically be liekly to have over 100% hit (based on Player stats vs enemy stats and enemy stats vs seeker stats) missing over 50% of the time over a 30+ turn battle (Because really, you expected level 6 seeker flames to do jack all against bosses double it's level?)

If I had to guess, they likely have some kind of unlisted evasion passive taking effect, such as an Oracle's passives, or a Spectre's.

(And yes. I apologize for the thread name name. Seeing two "_____? What _____?" threads so close together made this hard to resist.
